Looks like a guy with no knowledge of mechanical design or automotive brake systems attempted to re-design a brake system. Yikes..... We should all check our egos at the door when human safety is a concern. Being an actual engineer, constructive criticism is a huge part of the job. A design never becomes finalized until it has been reviewed by others. When a design flaw or tweak is recognized, we re-examine and revise accordingly. What you refer to as a difference in opinion was members pointing out major flaws. If I where to react as you did I would quickly be out of a job. I hope this was a humbling experience for you. The reason this "grinds my gears" is because someone is trying to design and market a product without the required education and experience. Its a slap in the face to engineers and designers. Mechanical design 101, no part should ever have sharp interior corners. This alone ruins the credibility of the person designing the kit.
